Hearty Chicken Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 carrot, sliced (1/2 c.)
    1 small onion, sliced (1/2 c.)
    1/2 c. sliced celery
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
    1 bay leaf
    2 (5 oz.) cans boned chicken, cut up or 1 1/2 c. diced, cooked chicken
    1 c. uncooked medium noodles
    1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    In large saucepan, combine water, tomatoes, sliced carrot, onion, celery, salt, thyme and bay leaf.
    Bring mixture to boiling; reduce heat.
    Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.
