Fresh Corn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 fresh white ears of corn
    4 Tbsp. fat back drippings
    1 can evaporated milk
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 qt. whole milk
    2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut corn off cob. Add corn, water and meat drippings; bring to boil. Mix flour and evaporated milk. Pour slowly into boiling mixture, stirring constantly. Slowly add milk; continue stirring as soup cooks to desired thickness.
