Date Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dates (in halves)
    1 c. walnuts (in fourths)
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs, beaten separately
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream eggs and sugar.
    Add fruit and nuts, then white of eggs gradually.
    Add flour and vanilla.
    Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 30 to 45 minutes.
