Almond Fruit Pizza Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) cans Pillsbury refrigerated crescent rolls
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) almond paste
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. strawberries, halved
    1 c. raspberries
    1 c. seedless green grapes
    1 (11 oz.) mandarin oranges, drained
    2 kiwi fruit, peeled, sliced (optional)
    1/2 c. apricot preserves
    1/4 c. toasted, slivered almonds
