Prize Winning Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
5 raw apples, well chopped
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening together. Add eggs and mix well. Add dry ingredients and then nuts and apples. Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
