Ingredients

3/4 c. butter flavor Crisco
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. pecan pieces
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Combine Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla.
Mix well.
Beat in 1 egg.
Combine flour, salt and baking soda; then mix into mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
Drop by tablespoons of dough 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet (11 x 13-inch) for crisp cookies.
Makes 3 dozen 3-inch cookies.
