Easy Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chorizo sausage, cut into bite size pieces
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained and chopped
    1/2 tsp. dried whole oregano
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Cook sausage in large skillet over low heat until done.
    Drain and reserve.
    Add to skillet onion, green pepper and garlic; saute until tender.
    Add beans, tomatoes, sausage and seasonings; simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes or add to crock-pot and cook on low as long as desired.
    Great for football parties.
    Serve over rice. Yields 4 to 6 servings.
