Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. milk
2 c. sugar
3 c. self-rising flour
4 eggs
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
2 (8 oz.) frozen coconut
2 c. granulated sugar
Preparation

Mix shortening, milk, sugar, flour, eggs and lemon extract together and bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
Makes 4 large layers.
Mix sour cream, coconut and granulated sugar together and spread over cake layers while cake is still warm.
It will seep in and make it moist.
