Hominy Jalapeno Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) cans hominy, drained (reserve 1/2 c. liquid)
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 c. butter
    1 large jalapeno pepper
    salt and pepper
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine hominy liquid, soup and butter.
    Heat until butter is melted.
    Remove from heat; add hominy, jalapeno pepper and seasoning.
    Pour into a greased casserole dish.
    Top with cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
