Great Northern Bean Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 c. coarsely chopped onions
1 c. thinly sliced carrots
2 c. chopped cabbage
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes (undrained), cut up
1 (15.5 oz.) can Great Northern beans, drained
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. hot red pepper sauce
1/3 c. chopped fresh parsley or 1 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
Preparation

In large saucepan or 4-quart Dutch oven, brown sausage and onions; drain.
Stir in all remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Makes 6 (1 cup) servings.
