24 Hour Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 1/2 c. celery
    1 1/2 c. onions
    1 1/2 pkg. green peas (frozen)
    5 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    2 1/2 c. mayonnaise, mixed with a little sugar and milk
Preparation
    Layer all the ingredients as stated, the mayonnaise with milk and sugar last.
    Add 8 ounces Cheddar cheese. Add bacon, that has been cut into bits and fried, on top of the cheese. Refrigerate overnight.
