Hole-The-Middle-Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cocoa
2/3 tsp. soda
pinch of salt
1 c. sour milk
6 Tbsp. melted shortening
1 egg

Preparation

Sift all dry ingredients together. Make a hole in the middle and drop the egg, milk and shortening in. Beat for 5 minutes. Bake at 350\u00b0 in greased and floured 9 x 9 pan until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
