Taylor Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 qt. cold water
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 qt. canned tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Let rice and water simmer slowly until rice is well done. There will be no water left.
    Add ground beef, tomatoes and seasonings.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serves 8.
