Chicken Casserole With Cheese Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. celery, sliced
    4 eggs, hard boiled
    2 1/2 c. chicken, cooked
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    2 c. milk
    1 sm. onion, sliced
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Chicken:
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Arrange celery, eggs, and chicken (cut up) in ungreased 8x8x2 inch baking pan.
    Melt butter over low heat.
    Blend in flour, salt, and black pepper.
    Cook over low heat stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in milk and heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Stir boiling mixture one minute.
    Stir in onion and green pepper. Pour milk over mixture and place in oven.
