Oatmeal Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. quick-cooking oats
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. milk
    3 tsp. Crisco oil
Preparation
    Sift flour with sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Add oats. Pour in egg, milk and oil; stir just enough to moisten.
    Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Yield:
    12 muffins.
