Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
1 c. butter or margarine
4 c. peanuts
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Blend sugar, corn syrup, water and butter.
Cook to 230\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
Add peanuts and cook to 280\u00b0.
Stir occasionally and continue cooking to 305\u00b0.
Remove from heat and add soda.
Stir quickly until hard and break into pieces.
