Whole Wheat Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. unsifted whole wheat flour
1/2 c. unsifted unbleached white flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. mashed ripe bananas (2 large or 3 small)
1/4 c. yogurt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream butter and sugar together until light and creamy.
Beat in egg.
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
Combine the bananas and yogurt stirring just enough to mix.
Add dry ingredients alternately with banana mixture to butter mixture stirring just enough to combine well.
Turn into 9 x 5-inch oiled loaf pan.
Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until done. Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and finish cooling on a rack.
Yields 1 loaf.
