Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
5 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 pkg. yeast
4 Tbsp. warm water
2 c. buttermilk
melted real butter
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Dissolve yeast in warm water and pour it and buttermilk into flour mixture.
Roll out on floured board and cut with small cutter.
Hand dip each biscuit in melted butter and place on baking sheet.
Can be frozen at this point or baked at 400\u00b0 until lightly browned.
