Hot Butter Rum Batter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter, softened
    1 1/2 lb. brown sugar
    1/2 lb. powdered sugar
    1/2 gal. melted vanilla ice cream
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    dash of allspice
Preparation
    Mix together the butter and sugars.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Freeze in containers (one pint containers are a good size).
    Thaw slightly before using.
    Add 2 to 3 tablespoons (to your taste) of batter to a cup and add boiling water.
