Dynamite Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising cornmeal or 1 c. regular corn meal and 2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sour cream
    2 eggs
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 stick butter
    1 small can cream-style corn
Preparation
    Place butter in pan in hot oven (400\u00b0) until melted.
    Sift corn meal, salt and sugar together in bowl.
    Put creamed corn, eggs, sour cream and onion into bowl and mix well (always mix wet ingredients into dry).
    Pour the melted butter very slowly into the mixture and stir.
    Pour into hot pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for about 45 minutes or until golden brown across the top.
