Fat-Free Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
1/4 c. corn starch
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
4 egg whites
1 c. water
1/2 c. corn syrup (light or dark)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Spray 9-inch square baking pan with a nonstick spray.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients until well mixed.
In a separate small bowl, whisk egg whites, water and corn syrup.
Add to dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
Pour into prepared baking pan; bake 30 minutes. Cake is done when it springs back when lightly touched.
