Creamed Green Beans With Onions(Makes 8 Servings) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. Borden half and half
1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen small whole onions, thawed and very well drained
2 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen French-style green beans, thawed and very well drained
12 slices Borden American process cheese food
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In large saucepan, melt butter.
Stir in flour, mustard, salt and pepper.
Cook and stir over low heat until mixture is bubbly.
Gradually stir in half and half.
Stir in vegetables.
In 8-inch square baking dish, place 1/3 vegetable mixture and top with 4 slices cheese.
Repeat 2 times, ending with cheese, then nuts.
Bake, uncovered, 35 minutes or until hot. Refrigerate leftovers.
