Apple Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped apples, peeled and cored
    1 1/2 c. sugar (less, if desired)
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    salt to taste
    1 stick margarine
    biscuit dough the size of a baseball
Preparation
    Roll out dough in oblong shape on floured board or table. Spread apples evenly over dough.
    Sprinkle with sugar, salt and cinnamon.
    Start at the edge and roll as a jelly roll.
    Cut into 3 or 4 pieces and place into baking dish.
    Dot with margarine. Cover with boiling water.
    Cook at 400\u00b0 until brown, about 30 minutes.
    Other fruits such as peaches, blackberries or strawberries may be used.
