Alabama Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    6 Tbsp. Crisco
    1/2 cake yeast or 1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt, soda and sugar.
    Cut in Crisco.
    Dissolve yeast in buttermilk.
    Combine dry ingredients in liquid and roll out on floured board.
    Cut with floured cutter.
    Let rise 1 1/2 hours.
    Bake on greased baking sheet 12 to 15 minutes at 375\u00b0.
