Shrimp With Garlic Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. jumbo shrimp
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    3/4 c. olive oil (approximately)
    juice of 1/2 lemon
    lemon wedges
    1 Tbsp. minced parsley
Preparation
    Slit each shrimp down the back without removing the shell. Flatten and place cut side up in a shallow broiler pan.
    Sprinkle with the garlic and olive oil and put under a preheated broiler. Broil 3 minutes, then turn the shrimp.
    Broil an additional 4 minutes, or until the flesh is opaque and the shrimp are cooked through.
    Transfer to a warmed platter.
    Pour the cooking liquid over the shrimp and sprinkle with the parsley and lemon juice. Garnish with lemon wedges.
    Makes 4 servings.
