Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
2 heaping Tbsp. strawberry jello
1 qt. strawberries
pie shell
Preparation

Cook sugar, Karo, cornstarch and water until clear and thick, then add jello and stir until dissolved.
(Add food coloring if desired.)
Let cool.
Add strawberries, washed and cut, and pour into pie shell.
Top with whipped cream and garnish.
Chill several hours.
