Pecan Fingers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, softened
9 Tbsp. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 1/2 c. chopped pecans
powdered sugar
Preparation

Cream butter and 9 tablespoons powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Blend in vanilla; add flour and nutmeg, mixing until well blended.
Stir in pecans.
Shape dough into finger shapes about 2 inches long.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
Cook and roll each in powdered sugar. Yields about 4 dozen.
