Potato Deluxe Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns*
    1 c. onions, diced
    1 can cream of chicken or cream of celery soup
    1 lb. carton sour cream
    1 stick melted butter or margarine
    8 oz. or more sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    salt and pepper to taste
    dash of garlic salt
Preparation
    Thaw hash browns 30 minutes before using.
    Mix all ingredients in large bowl.
    Put into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle crushed potato chips over top.
    Dab with butter, if desired.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
