Broccoli Cheese Soup With Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 Tbsp. oil or melted margarine
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    6 c. water
    6 chicken bouillon cubes or 6 c. canned chicken broth
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. fine noodles
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli or 1 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli, chopped
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
    dash of pepper (optional)
    6 c. milk
    1/2 to 1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
Preparation
    Saute in oil or melted margarine the chopped onion.
    Add, then bring to a boil the broth, water and noodles to a boil.
    Cook 3 minutes.
    Add broccoli, garlic powder and pepper.
    Cook 4 to 5 minutes.
    Then add, stirring until cheese melts the milk and cheese.
    Serve at once.
    Yield: 16 cups, 150 calories per cup.
