Sunday Dinner Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 cubed beef steaks
    1 envelope dry onion-mushroom soup mix
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    1 can mushrooms with liquid (optional)
    1 can beef gravy
    1 can water
    flour
    pepper
Preparation
    Roll
    steaks in flour and pepper. Brown lightly on both sides in\thot oil.
    Place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix over top.
    Cover with canned mushrooms and liquid. Layer
    on
    sliced
    onion.
    Pour gravy, which has been mixed with 1
    can
    of\twater,\tover
    top. Do not stir.
    Cover tightly with foil.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 to 4 hours.
