Chinese-Style Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. boneless top round steak
1/4 c. vegetable oil
3 medium green peppers, coarsely chopped
1 c. thinly sliced celery
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 c. diced onion
1 c. beef bouillon
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
hot, cooked rice
Preparation

Partially freeze steak, then slice across the grain into 3 x 1/8-inch strips.
Brown meat in hot oil in a large skillet; add next 7 ingredients.
Cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Combine soy sauce, water and cornstarch; stir well.
Add to meat mixture, then cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Serve over rice.

8 servings.
