Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

1 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. quick oats
Preparation

In large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla.
Combine flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda.
Add to mixture, mixing well with spoon.
Stir in oats and nuts.
Batter will be stiff.
Drop by round tablespoon or 3/4 inch balls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 11 to 12 minutes or until set.
Cookies will be slightly moist in center. Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet to wire rack.
