Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. (2 to 3 medium) mashed, ripe bananas
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in bananas, milk and vanilla. Add remaining ingredients and stir by hand just until well combined. Pour into 9 x 5-inch loaf pan, greased (I spray with Pam). Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan and cool completely before slicing.
