Cowboy Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. dry pinto beans (washed well)
    1 chopped onion
    salt pork or ham butt to season
    fresh ground meat
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    In a large Dutch oven, place pinto beans, onion and salt pork or ham.
    Cover with water and cook slow for about 3 hours, adding water as needed.
