Miracle Seafoam Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. water
    1 tsp. vinegar
    2 unbeaten egg whites
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix brown sugar, water and vinegar.
    Bring to a boil, then cook 3 minutes.
    In a mixing bowl, combine egg whites, cream of tartar and salt.
    Beat into peaks.
    Slowly add syrup, beating all the while.
    Beat 5 minutes more.
    Add vanilla and blend.
    Sprinkle with coconut after frosting cake (if you wish).
