Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. butter
    8 oz. thin noodles
    1 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli (10 oz.)
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    6 c. milk
    1 large can chicken broth (6 c.)
    1 lb. processed cheese (Velveeta), cubed
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter. Add chicken broth and heat to boiling. Add noodles and salt. Cook 3 minutes. Stir in broccoli which has already been cooked. Add garlic powder.
    Cook 4 minutes. Reduce heat and add cheese and milk. Season with pepper.
    Makes 4 quarts. Can be frozen.
