Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O
    1/2 qt. strawberries
    1 baked pie crust or graham cracker crust
    whipped topping
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch and water; cook until thickened, about 6 minutes.
    Remove from heat and stir in Jell-O until dissolved; cool.
    Cap and slice strawberries and place them in pie crust. Pour sauce over berries and chill.
    Top with whipped toppings.
