Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh peaches
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. melted shortening
    1 egg
Preparation
    Pour cornstarch, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of salt over peaches.
    Mix together the flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, baking powder, milk, 1/2 cup sugar, shortening and egg.
    Pour over the peach mixture.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes in greased 6 x 10-inch dish.
