Red Fruit Compote - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    currants
    strawberries
    raspberries
    rhubarb
    gooseberries
    sour cherries
    sugar to taste
    cornstarch mixed with water
    sweet cream
Preparation
    Use equal quantities of first 6 ingredients.
    Frozen fruit may be used.
    Mix fruit together and bring to a boil.
    Simmer just until all the fruit is tender.
    Add sugar to taste and thicken with cornstarch mixed with water.
    Serve cool with sweet cream.
