Dirt Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 large box vanilla instant pudding
1 large container Cool Whip
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 large pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed

Preparation

Mix the pudding according to directions on package. Add Cool Whip and softened cream cheese; mix until smooth.
Alternate layers of pudding mixture and crushed Oreo cookies, beginning with pudding and ending with Oreo cookies.
Chill for 4 hours or overnight.
