Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

fresh or frozen fruit (approximately 1 qt.)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 stick margarine
Preparation

Place fruit on bottom of glass Pyrex dish.
Sprinkle with water and 1/2 cup sugar.
Mix flour and 1 cup sugar in bowl. Cut egg into dry ingredients until like coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle over fruit.
Melt margarine and pour over.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 40 minutes until topping is brown.
