Hershey'S Best Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    4 eggs
    3/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    In medium microwave-safe bowl, place butter.
    Microwave at High (100%) for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes, or until melted.
    Stir in sugar and vanilla.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with wooden spoon after each addition.
    Add cocoa; beat until well blended.
    Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat well.
    Stir in nuts, if desired.
    Pour batter into prepared pan.
    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan.
    Cool; cut into bars.
    Makes about 36 brownies.
