Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 sticks oleo
1 lb. dates
1 lb. pecans
1 lb. walnuts
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 1/2 c. sugar
6 eggs, beaten
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. candied cherries
Preparation

Sift flour, nutmeg and baking powder.
Chop fruit and nuts. Mix into flour until all fruit is separated and flour coated. Cream sugar and butter, then add eggs.
Beat well.
Pour sugar mixture into flour mixture and mix well.
Grease and flour tube pan, then place brown paper in the bottom.
Bake 2 1/2 to 3 hours at 250\u00b0.
