Norman'S Chopped Liver - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh chicken livers, cut into small pieces
    2 white onions, finely diced
    1/3 c. fresh chicken fat (found in frozen food area)
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 hard-boiled eggs
Preparation
    Saute chicken livers and 1/2 onions in heavy frying pan until onions are golden brown and livers have turned light brown.
    Put them into a chopping bowl.
    Add salt, pepper and the rest of raw onion.
    Chop together until coarse and blended (or put through a food grinder).
    Do not puree.
    Add chopped eggs.
    Refrigerate and serve with crackers or rye bread.
