Meatballs In Sour Cream Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 egg
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 small can pitted ripe olives
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Combine ground chuck, 3/4 teaspoon salt, pepper, egg and onion in bowl; mix well.
    Shape into balls around olives.
    Brown in shortening in skillet.
    Remove from skillet.
    Keep hot.
    Add flour to 3 tablespoons pan drippings; mix well.
    Add 1/2 cup water.
    Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Add sour cream and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
    Simmer for several minutes.
    Pour sauce over meatballs. Yields 4 servings.
