Never Fail Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 1/8 c. white Karo
1/2 c. water
4 c. Spanish peanuts
3 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Boil sugar, Karo and water until thread spins or 250\u00b0.
Add peanuts and cook until a few drops dropped in a cup of cold water cracks.
Remove from heat.
Add butter, vanilla and soda.
Pour onto buttered cookie sheet, spreading as thin as possible with spoon.
