Polly'S Pan Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 6 Golden Delicious apples
1/3 c. margarine
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
bit of cinnamon (optional)
Preparation

Cut apples in half, do not peel.
Cut out core and seeds.
Lay in large frying pan with margarine, with cut side up.
Mix sugar, cornstarch, water and cinnamon.
Pour over apples.
Put lid on and cook until tender.
