Delicate White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cake flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 egg whites
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Measure flour, salt, baking powder and sugar into sifter. Measure shortening and egg whites into Mixmaster bowl.
    Measure milk and vanilla into cup.
    Have the shortening at room temperature.
    Line bottoms of 2 (8-inch) layer pans with paper or grease.
