Our Favorite Red Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
4 c. shredded red cabbage
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 Tbsp. tarragon vinegar
Preparation

Put drippings into skillet.
Melt.
Add cabbage, sugar, water, salt, pepper and vinegar.
Stir to blend.
Cover pan and simmer 30 minutes.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
