Speedy Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 can chickpeas
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can Great Northern beans
    1/2 medium chopped onion
    3/4 c. chopped green pepper
Preparation
    Mix together sugar, vinegar, oil and salt.
    Rinse and drain beans.
    Add to vinegar mixture.
    Add onion and pepper.
    Let stand overnight.
